HoSinMooSulThe style of Hapkido practiced at Chung Yong is HoSinMooSul a style developed by Master Lee Kwan Young (9th Dan Hapkido & 9th Dan Taekwondo) in Paris. Master Lee Kwan Young has developed this system following his many years of martial arts, military and police experience.
HoSinMooSul is a very practical and extremely effective style of self defence and is currently used within police forces throughout Britain and Europe. Master Lee Kwan Young continues to work closely with Master William Rose (5th Dan Hapkido) and Master James Kennedy (4th Dan Hapkido) to promote Hapkido within the UK.
HoSinMooSul includes explosive kicks and sweeps, a diverse range of locks, blocks and strikes for close quarters combat and some of the most practical falls, rolls, breaks and throws of all the martial arts. Many of the instructors within Chung Yong also hold Dan grades in Hapkido and are available to teach.
