Please disregard times below, hall letting have got back to me and we are in from 1000am to 1100am. Not 9 till 10 as first indicated.

Please note that class times on Sunday 29th April, will be 09.00 am to 10.00 am, both senior and junior class will be combined for 1 hour. This is due to a Karate Tournament.

Next Grading 14/04/2012
For Caterham students who did not take part in last Saturday’s grading the next grading is booked for Saturday 14th April 2012 and will be held at our Coulsdon venue.
The grading will start at 9am, please arrive at the hall for 8:45am.
Grading 17/03/2012
Congratulations to all students who took part in the Taekwondo grading held on Saturday 17th March in Coulson. The standard from all students was very high.
The students, who train in our Caterham class, have all been working hard preparing for this grading and this showed on the day. Well done to the following students who took part.

Sparring Squad Training This Wednesday at Caterham.
We will be combining all three classes into one long sparring class. Lesson starts at 7:30 and ends at 11pm. Students can leave early if needed.

Taekwondo Grading: 17/03/2012
The grading booked for this Saturday (17th March) will start at 9am. Please make sure you arrive at the hall by 8:45am.
Venue: St John’s Parish Hall Marlpit Lane (B276) Old Coulsdon
Students who are hoping to grade should attend training this Wednesday at Caterham.

National Poomse Championships – Sheffield
Pictured are Victoria Findlay, Claire Gillhaney and Zoe Brennan who won silver in their category team event. Congratulations to Claire (centre) who also took silver in her individual category. Victoria and Zoe lost out in the medals in their category, but both are to be congratulated.
Well done to all the girls, and roll on their next outing.
Thanks to Mr Lewsley and daughter Robyn for getting the girls ready for this event. Mr Lewsley and Robyn also did very well in their categories but were up against some of the countries very best. Both did Chung Yong proud and are looking forward to them taking some major scalps in the future.
Sparring Squad Training – Caterham Class
With new student progressing up the grades it is time to start redeveloping our Sparring squad! To kick-start this we are devoting one Wednesday a month to squad training. The lesson will start at 7:30 and end at 11pm, students are encouraged to get to training as early as they can and are welcome to stay as late as they can (regardless of age – all students welcome).
Dates that will be devoted to Squad training:

Wednesday 25th April
Wednesday 23rd May
News on other activities and training will follow shortly.

Caterham Lessons
Due to the school hall being unavailable, there will be no Fitness, Taekwondo or Hapkido training at Oakhyrst School Caterham on:

The grading organised for Saturday 3rd March will now take place on Saturday 17th March.
(Remember to make good use of this extra practice time!)
Saturday morning lessons in Coulsdon are running as normal.
