Class Notes
The Scotter club was opened in October 2010 by  Ms. Catherine Gibbs after moving into the area. It is a fun, friendly and energetic class which is suitable for all abilities. There are currently spaces available in both the kids and adult classes. New students wishing to train should contact Ms. Catherine Gibbs before turning up.

Ms. Catherine Gibbs started training in 1988 under Master William Rose and gained her 1st Dan in 1996. Since then Cathy has started many of the other clubs in Chung Yong before handing them over to their current instructors. As well as being a successful coach Cathy is an experienced referee and has worked at major events around the world. Cathy is a full time instructor and believes that Taekwondo should be made available to all people of all abilities. In her efforts to provide this, Cathy has helped introduce Taekwondo into the school curriculum in a variety of forms. Cathy’s experiences include teaching Taekwondo to children with learning difficulties and special needs. Within Chung Yong Cathy is one of the most active instructors and is always available to assist students and other instructors.
